7+ years of platform eng/devops work. I like building stable, reliable systems that are defined as code, well observed, and automated as much as possible. Outside of work I like to tinker with my homelab and play music.
Running the DevOps team behind multiple product lines: Kubernetes on AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, and on-call. Led modernization across the products, including several large migrations from legacy platforms onto durable, maintainable infrastructure. Reduced incident frequency 62% in six months by automating recovery and improving alert quality. Now focused on using AI to speed up operations and actually get results from it: making a small team accomplish big things, safely, while learning how to optimize token usage.
Five years on the infrastructure behind ssense.com. Started as a level 2 DevOps developer, ended up leading the team. Owned platform stability through the highest-traffic events of the year: scaling the clusters, hardening deployments, and leading the load-testing and readiness work ahead of every big event. Worked with every engineering team in the company on application resilience, acting as a bridge between the infrastructure and development orgs.
First infrastructure job, and a bit of everything. Ran the studio’s GCP footprint: compute, storage, and networking, plus the GitLab CI pipelines behind every project. Cut cloud spend by right-sizing machines and retiring what nobody used. Worked directly with clients to scope, deploy, and support their projects, and kept the office network running on the side.
An MCP server that gives a language model full control of the REAPER DAW: 114 tools over a file-based IPC bridge, plus a feedback loop that renders audio, measures loudness, and returns spectrograms so the model can verify its own changes.
A guitar and drum rig for Linux. Neural captures of real amp tones (NAM and AIDA-X), per-preset signal chains built from EQ, compression, cab IRs, and reverb, and a Neural-DSP-style interface written from scratch whose on-screen knobs drive the live audio engine over OSC. The drum side triggers SFZ-sampled acoustic kits.
An always-on desk dashboard for the whole house and homelab, and easily my biggest personal codebase. Hardware telemetry, live camera feeds over WebRTC, network and Zigbee observability with health alerts, and controls for everything from the lights to the monitors themselves, with companion mobile and windows builds.
